As you all know the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games are fast approaching and we are all itching to watch our Canadian Equestrian teams take on the challenge at the newly renovated Caledon Pan Am Equestrian park. But along with the games comes a ton of other horse related things to do in the area. The CWHBA and the CSHA are jointly hosting a horse sale as a part of Equine Canada’s Horse Experience 2015.

The sale is designed to present the best of Canadian breeding to all the international visitors we will have here for the games. There will be up to 60 horses available for sale that are a minimum of 3 years old, be going under saddle and they all must be registered with a warmblood or sport horse registry. The sale is not an auction, buyers and sellers will be allowed to negotiate, discuss and make sale arrangements on their own terms. All the horses will be demonstrated, schooled over hunter, jumper and dressage courses and will be available for test riding to potential buyers.

There will be a veterinarian on site to provide pre-purchase exams and x-rays as well we will be set up during the sale with insurance representatives that can help provide details of reccommended insurance coverages and sell mortality policies on the spot as sales are being made.

The sale will be held on July 17-19th at the Orangeville Agricultural Society Event Centre.
