Protect Your Horse’s Health With The Right Insurance
You can add additional coverages to your Horse Mortality Insurance in Ontario to protect your investment in your horse.
In this report you’ll discover the difference between two endorsements of the Full Mortality policy – Surgical Endorsement and Major Medical Endorsement.
What’s The Difference Between Surgical Endorsement And Major Medical Endorsement?
As an endorsement to your Horse Mortality Insurance, Surgical Endorsement protects you from loss that occurs because of any surgical procedures your horse needs. This includes surgical fees charged by a licensed veterinarian that are reasonable and customary for the treatment delivered to save your horse’s life, better its health or treat an injury.
This also includes approved non-surgical medical fees that are applied for a specific period of time following surgery. Different insurers have different coverages, conditions and monetary limits, as well as applicable deductions.
Like the Surgical Endorsement, you can add Major Medical Endorsement to your Full Mortality policy. This not only protects you from loss related to any surgical procedures your horse needs, but also medical expenses. This includes surgical fees charged by a licensed veterinarian that are reasonable and customary for the treatment delivered to save your horse’s life, better its health or treat an injury.
This coverage is usually subject to deductible. Different insurers have different coverages, conditions and monetary limits.
