Henry Equestrian Donation Helps Support the Fort McMurray Wild Fire Relief: Here's how you can donate too!

Henry Equestrian Insurance Brokers is very proud to announce that we have donated $1,000.00 to the Alberta Equestrian Federation in order to contribute to the disaster relief efforts they are making to help horses and horse owners in Fort McMurray in the wake of the devastating wildfires that they are experiencing. We want to thank Equine Canada for letting us know about this fund raising effort and share this message from Equine Canada CEO Eva Havaris regarding how you can also get involved and show your support. The devastation that horse owners in Alberta are experiencing is incomprehensible to many of us. One story read that a woman who was forced to leave her beloved horses behind wrote her phone number on their hooves in hopes of being reunited with them should someone else be able to save them from the impending blaze. If you are able to make a donation please do as any little bit can help save a life!  http://equinecanada.ca/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=2522%3Athe-s ...

Scott Brash Makes History at Spruce Meadows!

Every year thousands of equestrians travel to Spruce Meadows or tune in online or on TV to watch one of our favorite events of the year - The Masters. The best equestrian athletes in the world, a breathtaking and historic venue, and a track that will keep everyone on the edge of their seats. For Scott Brash, the masters held an even higher stake then it did to the other riders. He had the opportunity to win the Rolex Grand Slam after winning in Geneva and Aachen - it was basically the triple crown of show jumping and the chance to make history.  Despite the rain, and some impressive rides by Brazil and Belgium in the jump off of eleven riders, Scott took to the ring with his eyes on the prize. Despite a very lucky rub he managed to pull off an incredible trip and left the entire arena of 85,000 people on their feet cheering. With a 1.6 million dollar pay day, Scott is also the first rider to ever win all three show jumping majors consecutively. At only 29 years old Scott is one of the most talented ...

Overland Water Protection

Overland Water Protection

Henry Equestrian is excited to offer overland water protection for residential property owners and tenants through Aviva Canada. Our goal is to give our customers options when it comes to water exposures.

Overland water protection responds to losses that result from the accumulation or run off of surface waters, including torrential rainfall when water enters the property. It can be added to a wide range of policies, e.g. owners or tenants of houses, condos, rental properties, seasonal properties or secondary properties. The consumer brochure provides more details.

The Overland Water Endorsement forms a key part of the Aviva Water Protection package, which combines base policy water protection (broken water pipes and more), sewer back-up protection (the backing up or escape of water or sewage) and overland water protection.
